Open Streets
Bo-POP supports a few pilot projects that have been proposed in Bothell:
We submitted a letter to the Bothell City Council in May supporting some of these proposals. If you wish to write a letter, we've created a quick guide to help.
Below is the letter we sent:
- Opening some area streets to more pedestrian and bicycle use (limiting vehicle access to Local Access Only)
- Opening Main Street to local businesses for seating, expanding their seating capacity when in Phase 2 and greater (no car traffic on Main Street)
- Allowing businesses to choose to use some parking for seating areas to expand their seating capacity in Phase 2 and beyond
